Sidekick doesn't require an account — the data we store on our server is linked only to an anonymous device identifier. Here you'll find out what that data is and how to request its deletion, even without access to the app.
Sidekick doesn't require an account. On our server we store only data linked to an anonymous device identifier (no name, email, or phone number):
Data that never leaves your phone (recordings, transcripts, notes, employees, settings) can be deleted directly in the app: Settings → Clear data — this works fully offline and doesn't require a request here. You'll find the full description of the data architecture and encryption on the Security Architecture page.
The fastest way: open the app and go to Settings → Delete data from server. Your request is carried out immediately, without waiting for an email reply.
Write to us at the address below. If you saved your device identifier (visible in the app: Settings → Data section → "Delete data from server" → "Device identifier", with a copy button) - please be sure to include it, as it's the only way for us to unambiguously identify and delete YOUR data specifically, without any risk of mixing it up with someone else's.
If you do NOT have a saved identifier (e.g. you uninstalled the app before we introduced this) - unfortunately we have no way to unambiguously link your request to a specific entry in our database. We don't store any data that would make this possible (no name, email, or phone number) - write to us anyway, and we'll try to help as best we can based on roughly when you used the app.
We permanently and irreversibly delete: the device entry, event history, purchase and promo code records, and the stored minute-pool usage — exactly the same scope as the "Delete data from server" button in the app.
